Queer Eye for the Boston Red Sox
Sunday June 5, 2005. Kyan, Carson, and Thom threw out the first pitch and Jai sang the national anthem, as the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy guys opened a Sunday afternoon game at Fenway Park.
They were promoting their season premiere (June 7th) featuring makeovers of Boston Red Sox players, taped during Spring Training.
Johnny Damon, Tim Wakefield, Kevin Millar, Doug Mirabelli and Jason Varitek participated in the makeover of the World Champion Red Sox.

"If there's a gay guy in baseball, we have to help him out," Damon said, and he had already figured out an easy way to make an out- of-the-closet teammate comfortable. "I'd smack him on the butt, just like I do everybody else."
